Etihad Airways to Launch Daily Flights to Düsseldorf and Copenhagen from Abu Dhabi in 2025

Expanded European network adds daily services to Düsseldorf and Copenhagen, increasing flexibility and connectivity for travelers.

Etihad Airways has announced the launch of daily flights to Düsseldorf (DUS) and Copenhagen (CPH) from Abu Dhabi’s Zayed International Airport (AUH), starting in October 2025. This expansion significantly increases the airline’s capacity to Düsseldorf, which was previously served only three times a week. Additionally, Etihad’s flights to Copenhagen will rise from four times a week to daily service.

The Abu Dhabi-based airline is bolstering its presence in both Germany and Scandinavia, with these daily routes reflecting its commitment to enhancing connectivity between Abu Dhabi and key European destinations.

Arik De, Chief Revenue and Commercial Officer of Etihad Airways, commented on the development, saying, “This move to daily flights for Düsseldorf and Copenhagen marks an exciting chapter in our European expansion. It reflects our commitment to providing unparalleled connectivity between Abu Dhabi and key European cities.”

“These enhanced frequencies allow us to offer greater flexibility and improved connection options across our global network. As we continue to grow, we remain dedicated to delivering our award-winning service and hospitality, ensuring every journey with Etihad is exceptional,” De added.

On October 14, 2024, Etihad Airways CEO Antonoaldo Neves revealed that more routes are planned as the airline continues its growth, reporting a 35% increase in passenger numbers compared to the previous year.
