Saudia Airlines – Updated Group Booking Procedure (G-Class)

Key Highlights for Travel Partners

Saudia Airlines has announced an update to its G-Class Group Booking Policy. All travel agents and partners are requested to take note of the following key highlights to ensure accurate guidance and compliance when assisting customers with Saudia group travel bookings.


Refunds

  • Group tickets are non-refundable both before and after departure.


Date Changes

  • USD 180 penalty applies for Failed to Join/Board ticket status.

  • Group date change is not permitted within 15 days of departure.

  • Date changes are only allowed 15 days or more before departure, with new applicable penalties.


Child Policy

  • Infants are accepted without any count restrictions.

  • A child will be counted as 25% of the group size.


Time Limit

  • New updated time limits have been implemented and will be generated automatically in the PNR for Umrah and Hajj seasons.


Group Deposit

  • A new deposit payment percentage has been introduced.

  • The EMD (Electronic Miscellaneous Document) can be issued with the agency’s name and endorsement, showing the total group size and agreed fare per passenger.


Fee & Charges

  • A new code, DPGS EMD, will now be used for group fees and charges.

  • PENF EMD will no longer apply for G-Class bookings.
